Outpatient Services

MCCMH offers a variety of outpatient and community-based services to assist adults with mental illness to live the lives of their choosing.  Among the outpatient and community services MCCMH offers:

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT)  provides basic services and supports essential for people with serious mental illness to maintain independence in the community. An ACT Team will provide mental health therapy and help with medications. The team may also help access community resources and supports needed to maintain wellness and participate in social, educational and vocational activities.

Community Living Supports (CLS)  are activities provided by paid staff that help adults with either serious mental illness live independently and participate actively in the community.

Mental Health Counseling includes clinic-based therapy or counseling designed to help manage issues related to a mental health condition, and to improve community connections and relationships with others.  Counseling and therapy services may be provided individually or in groups.

MCCMH offers a number of additional clinic-based and community services to support adults with mental health conditions.  To learn more, call the Access Center at 586-948-0222.
